I suppose you could hit Keller Park. Gonzo Park or the school. Maybe around the lake. Other than that, I can't think of anything. Looks like it is time to start doing some research. You are not far from Tucson though so you have that at least.

Research military encampments near and around the Cochise stronghold. Lots of history where you are.

Public parks and some public schools allow detecting but as you get up to speed, talk around, research maps at the closest library. Good finds just takes a little work. Lots of luck and send pics to the forum.

I did a little on airport but i only found a nail and z little price of fence. Most of it back there is fenced off and i heard the dry lake bed. But I'm not sure if that's actually allowed back there.

Welcome to Tnet, youmight want to post in the Arizona Forum Arizona

There are decades of post here on Tnet, when I started to come to Tnet I used to search for previous posts where I could mine the data that interested me.

You can get out on the lakebed by going south on 191, crossing the railway, then turning east on W. La Playa road.

Not much out there, but occasional .50 cal slugs from WWII air to ground gunnery - maybe a meteorite if you are very lucky.
