Lassen county California

I live in lassen county California and want to find old camps to detect. Not just mining camps but logging and immigrant camps too. What is a good resource for maps of this nature? Or is there some other way to find these camp locations? Other counties nearby are plumas, sierra, modoc.

The local library should have books on local history. Historical Society would also be a good resource.

Use Historic Aerials to see old birds-eye photos.
