Hello, I have a Garrett ace 400. I want to upgrade. I’m looking into a Garrett at pro but I was wondering how much better it is then the ace 400. I know it’s water proof and done research I was hoping to get some one with hands on experience. Any information would be great. Like depth. Also thought about Equinox 600.

Thank you.

I'm a Garrett guy but think I'd go ahead and buy the EQ600. OR, get the AT Pro for around $350 used...

If you can afford the Equinox, get it. There's nothing the AT Pro can do that the Equinox can't do better.

Since you already have the 400 the AT Pro isn’t too much of an upgrade. The Equinox 600 would be an upgrade.
Also Garrett is going to introduce a new detector called the Apex.
For me it would be the 600. Good luck!

I think an A T Pro is a great upgrade. Easy to use and a good machine.
