Small silver and maybe one big?

This past Wednesday and Thursday I had 2 perfect weather wise days to detect. So screwed up the courage to ask this somewhat contrary widow woman to let me detect an old vacant farmhouse she owns. Been wanting to hit it for 21 years that I have been driving by it several times a day. Especially the past 8 years since I've gotten updated detectors. Was told by others she wouldn't let me.

Lowl and behold she said sure right off. Said house was built in 1896 and someone else had gone over it a number of years ago, did he find anything? "Don't know he didn't say." Well as I said I've lived nearby and driven by it several times daily and never seen anyone. So thought good chance if he hit it 20+ years ago he left early Barbers and mercs. Not to be, l yielded only 3 memorials, 1 wheatie (1945), 1 1941 nickel, a 1960 Rosie, moderate amount of trash, and a beat up silver (I think) pocket watch cover. Not positive about that I.d.

Fairly heavy, non magnetic, monogrammed FJ. One photo will show where I used a lited magnifying glass and if you look closely you will see a 1/16" deep notch I cut in the edge with a 3 corner file. No brass or copper showed through. Sorry I don't own a gram scale, or metal test kit. What say yee, silver.Click image for larger version.

It looks silver to me but I'm no pocket watch expert. When in doubt air test with a detector. The old baking soda trick would restore the back it if its silver.
