Greed is the answer here. Garrett, an old American company has sold out to cheaper labor and materials and we still buy it just like we buy foreign cars and put our own out of work where now they can't afford to shop in our stores.

this would be a great question for Garrett. i agree with sandman, outsourcing is slow suicide for this country.

My bet would be that most components are manufactured elsewhere.
