I'd like to adapt one of my machines so it would fit into a carry on size suitcase...say 18 inches long. I'm thinking about some sort of telescoping rod, or maybe a collapsible walking stick. I have a Discovery 2200 (the one Radio Shack used to sell, by Bounty Hunter) or a wader-adapted Compadre to work on.

Anybody have any suggestions?

That's awesome, I'm going to check that out for myself.

My wife and I ordered one for our son; he uses the ATP. I was not there when in came in and he called me all disappointed, pissed and frustrated that he could not mount any of his Nel coils. I figured it is because he is just 12 and is over thinking something. As soon as I get back up to Germany I will have a look at it my self, I am sure that if Mars states it works with known models then they considered after market coils as well.
