6.75# Meteorite found in Southern Arizona

Found this fairly certain Meteorite with my White's MXT Metal Detector. Not exactly sure of the type of meteorite but sure heavy for its size.Let me know what you think.

That does look good, but it's an awful big piece. That would be unusual. Having a slice cut from it will give a ton of information.

However, you should do a search for meteorite Strewn Fields in Southern Arizona. If any show up and you were in or very near one of them, when you found it, you have a chance of it being real.
