Meteorite? Gold Dust ' Flakes?

This “rock”, and what looks like gold flakes, came from the same area.
Both are very heavy for their volume and the rock has a slight attraction to a magnet.
The black dust in with the gold dust / flakes will not attract to a magnet.
So what do you folks think?
Meteorite? Gold dust?
Value? And where would be a good place to sell?
Thanks

Not a meteorite for the stone and the gold flakes~ look like pyrite and black sand. Gold would glow rather nicely on the dark side of that bottle and would have separated from the black sand at the bottom rather thickly after any travel.

Not a meteorite, you have to pan the black sands and see if its gold.
