    Did a bunch nickels test on this and the test was supposed to turn dark pink got a micro amount of pink but one test turned dark green which isn't a color from the test.

    If it is a Chondrite (Stony Meteorite) then chances are it has trace amounts of metal in it. This can be hard to see from the outside though. You can make what is called a "window". Choose a small portion of the outside to grind down as smooth as possible.. even polished if you can do that. Then look close at the "window" and see if there are very tiny metal flakes sparkling back at you. Also look for tiny round balls of varying shades. These are called chondrules. If you can observe both chances are you have something! Any luck?

    You can try looking up the date you saw the meteor and the state you are in here: https://www.amsmeteors.org/members/i.../browse_events This is a cool link that shows triangulated info on where a meteor was at what time(s) and helps you figure out where to hunt!
