I found these in my yard. One may be volcanic possibly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 20181126_182537.jpg

No visible characteristics of meteorites. All meteorwrongs.

If you have continued interest in meteorites, pick up a few guidebooks. They are helpful, and when in the field, do not require an internet connection.

Time for more coffee.

Technically both are volcanic but just one formed from hydrothermal process. Looks like quartz node and granitic schist.... Look over your black one closely for geometric shapes. Could get lucky! Break it even before discarding. What I would do. Could be a pretty tourmaline or garnet in it. The quartz node could be a geode.
