Groupings question

I recently purchased quite a few pieces belonging to a Korean War navy pilot. He is identified and was a Distinguished Flying Cross recepient. After the war (or conflict, if you prefer), he continued to fly for the navy leading up to Vietnam.

Are groupings like this better than individual items? What's the interest like for Korean War and post Korean War items?

Also, if anyone is a member of the largest US militaria forum on the internet (I won't name it on this forum), could you please email a mod and let them know I've been waiting for approval for a month and still haven't gotten it for some reason?

Thanks for any info and I'll make a separate thread showcasing the grouping as soon as I take pictures of it.
