This is one of the most spectacular things (these finds of yours) I have ever seen. I can only imagine how you guys feel. I'm almost getting chills looking at the stuff. Please, keep posting the finds.

Thanks much! Most amazing find I have ever seen. I spent time hunting in Germany and that was the kind of find that I hoped for! It is amazing the storys that the German guys that I worked with would tell me of how much stuff got thrown out as junk while they would clean out their attics.

It will be founded near Polish-Russian board, in the Kaliningrad region, ( I was born in the Kaliningrad) until 9th april 1945 the Kaliningrad was an German town-frortrest but after siege and bloodly close-combats r our troops are take it and attached it to the USSR , place where is it was founded it is a famous place ... Here was devastated the 4th german's army and all forests and fields have a lot of ww2 military and civil items... If anyone wants I've posted the link about kaliningrad.

Excellent job. Please tell us more.....were you looking for this or just hit on it while detecting? What an amazing find . Many congratulations for a spectacular find.....show more if you can.....I like the box it was in....is it crossed rifles on the outside?
