I went out today for about three hours to a football field that wasn't very old. I kist wanted to go dig some targets whether it be clad or whatever. Clad count was 22 quarters, one dime, and a couple of memorials. I found 2 silver items, a .925 sterling band and small football charm. The charm is very small but very heavy. It range up like a dime, 11 45. The ring was 14 44. The other ring in the background wasn't found, just wanted to clarify. My wife took that one off to see if the found ring would fit.

I normally dig more dimes than anything, but ill take the quarters lol. Maybe being a sort of new field, most kids carry quarters more than anything now, who knows. No complaints here.

Thanks for the comments. I got the cabin fever, like a lot of you all out there. We got snow on the ground but hoping this weekend gets warm and dry enough to hunt some. Its supposed to get up in the 40s here.

Well I got to get out for a few hours on Saturday. I found a cool old pocketwatch, the minute, second hand and face along with the front cover was missing. I throwed it into the tumbler and the remainder came out copper. It had a plating on it before, it looked like silver. Still pretty neat. I found my oldest Jefferson nickel so far, a 1941. I didn't realize it was that old until I got it home and cleaned it up. It was down about 7 inches, and when I recovered it I thought it was deep for a jefferson. It rang in nice and clear, no doubts that it was a nickel. I also found 2 wheaties a 46 and a 53. Both wheats were about 5 inches down. Nothing spectacular found but still fun.
