just purchased a xterra 705

you know what that means....even though i own the 705s little brother 505.....I will still be posting for advice...LOL....in the meantime will b cramming on videos and and instruction books

NICE! I have the 305 and 505--shouldn't be a problem going to the 705 from what I have read.. the 505 is about the same depth but it will be nice to have auto ground balance; I would be interested in a compareisum between the two once you use it! Thought about getting one myself this summer. would be great if they made waterproof like the AT-Pro

went out today...I used another detector most of the the day...Just before i left i got out my new 705.I had put the 6 inch coiltek coil on it.Didnt get a chance to use it long, but that coil does a great job in trashy spots...It was almost like there wasnt any(but there was LOL) trash around ,it just called out to me on the coin signals...I know im gonna love that coil

Get the 10.5 MF DD coil for that 705 and call it a day. Awesome combo right there.

Yup! that's the coil I want to get this year. I got my 705 in early Nov. and I think it's great-can't wait for spring

got em Zr2...bought this detector used and got 4 coils with it... two 9 inch 7.5 an 3 kh....10.5 inch and the 6 inch coiltek....and i already have the 5 x 10 18.75 kh....I have called it a day....now if the days werent so cold,rainy,icey and snowy i could get out and try them....lol

Congrats, Xterra 705 is probably the best detector for small silver coins using the prospecting mode!

I've compared it to the CTX, GPX5000 and DEUS on romans sites and XTERRA 705 was the "big surprise" = a must have.

Looks like after some really cold weather things r looking up...50s and 60s for highs next...and the time changes march 8...back to detecting and fishing...lol

Minelab X-Terra 705 is underestimated detector.I like it a lot
Easy to master,very light,with clear and obvious signals...iron is iron,coin is coin,no doubt like with some other machines,depth is better then some more expensive detectors,

I just ordered a 705 too, hope to get it by this weekend! Did a lot of research, but got the 705 at $100 off.
