Headphone jacks in machines are commonly a weak point as the stress of constantly pulling on the headphone plug and cable can cause them to fail.

Hey guys. After just over 2 years, the headphone jack called it quits. Has anyone else had this issue on the forum? How long did it take to get your etrac back? I hope I don't have any warranty issues as I registered online, and I have read a couple of threads where minelab can't seem to find it.

Your warranty is tracked by the Serial Number. Headphone failure is common on some detectors if they are used often due to the constant plugging and unplugging and stress on headphone cable...

Minelab repair at Kellyco is averaging 2.5 weeks right now per tech....
