I use McNett, but just start this season a little different. I still spray with the silicon spray under the knobs and the head phone cord but I've been hand coating the coil cable with silicon grease about every two weeks. I hunt a lot, 3 to 4 days a week in brackish water and 3 to 4 hours a hunt. It's alittle messy but so far all is going well. After washing I'll let it dry, take the coil off the shaft then coat every curl well. I think any would work but I use the Dow Corning 111. I've also come up with a new idea on the headphones using the Dow 111 on the piezo's so they are unrestricted (louder) and protected by the silicon grease. That's still in the works, and testing.

I do have the dow 111 silicone grease. I have liquid wrench
Silicone spray. I'll spray with the lw. But look for the McNett.
Thanks for the reply OBN!

Looks like I just found my new spray. I'm waiting for this to come in before I spray down my Baby!
Looks like it would be good for the ctx too!

Thanks OBN! :icon_thumleft:
