Had a small break from the rain about lunch time today so I was fooling around with my CTX in my yard. Everytime I would turn my pinpointer on the detecter would go nuts. I did a noise cancellation but it didn't help. Finally I did it while the pinpointer was on that took care of it. Just wondering if anyone has run across this. I use the Garrett carrot and now I know what to do so I thought I would share in case someone else had this issue.

Yep, it doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it's annoying. It sounds silly but I've chalked it up to atmospheric moisture. Just the right amount and boom, there it is. Dunno

um, YEAH! You have to have the pinpointer turned on when you NC or else it can't see it to ignore it. It's a normal EMI problem that the CTX is designed to ignore.
