I started "surface collecting" points, back in early 1970s when I was in 9th grade in high school, and have always had a intrest in how they were made.
I have been knapping seriously, for about 11 years, and I currently teach several flintknapping classes a year. Flint knapping is really not that hard, or as complicated as some try to make it. I really enjoy the teaching part, and, as I often tell my students, "I can teach, well "ABOVE" my own ability". (ha, ha) Anyway, most of my students can come away with a "usable" point after their first class.
PS, I just got a new camera that takes much better macro pictures.
HI 3creeks, again.
I don't know how to put pictures on the computer yet and don't have a good
camera.
The one of me in the Avatar, was one that someone else put on for me,
