Many thanks to you all for the warm welcomes.
I am enjoying myself here and will try to get pics of some of my finds taken and posted soon.

I have been detecting since the 1980's, a lot through the eighties and then slowed down because of family responsibilities. I only got out a couple times a year from 1988 to 2004. I am now re-married with all the kids still, lol, but my love wants to get involved in this hobby too. I just got her a detector off eBay. An easy to use older TR Garrett machine, so we'll be getting out together soon.

I've been pretty lucky over the years in this, "paying off" the detector many times over. I always get inspired to detect in the Spring, after the long Michigan winter and have just moved to a different county when I got married, so there are a lot of new sites I am investigating.
