That's what so great about the music of the 60/70's, they had many musical influences. IF you didn't like one style, they had another style right behind it

I also left out a little bit of funk too

I love Rare Earth, saw them in Houston about 1971
Concert was, It's a Beautiful Day, Rare Earth & BB King
An Unappreciated Rare Earth Album was "MA"
I think they had some of the Motown writers wrote a few songs for them. Like I'm Losing You. Get ready, etc.

Tico14, you have to remember that Motown did own them and were trying to break into getting white bands on their new label Rare Earth Records
