I agree , almost every time I saw her on TV live,
her voice made the songs
stick out

I just went to one of her concerts a couple months ago. She sang some strange jazz songs in the beginning that made me want to pull my teeth out. After the intermission it was as if she got singing lessons and it sounded great from there.

Thanks for he additional songs, I found 2 more nice covers, one Beatles, the other McCartney's. The 3rd is a cover from the Animals and it's an interesting interpretation.

I was found something that attracted me to her, she is an attractive woman, and only getting better looking with age. If you have ever watched her in an interview, you will find she has a wicked sense of humor too. Maybe that's what attracted me to begin with :dontknow: :laughing7:

Bonus - Letterman interview

She's a whip for sure, and has also done a lot of good with Capt. Lou for charities.

Oh, I also meant to mention that who ever that other (so-called) singer was, was introduced by Kevin Spacey. I would have loved to hear him sing a Beatles song. He does have a great voice too, a very talented guy.

She was here in Austin a couple of years back for SXSW and she sang in a small little club, about 10 songs and I think allot of the people there(younger than 25 years old) don't know who she was,she was so good, that voice sounds better with age.

I think I'll make an honest woman out of her, that is if she's even into guys :icon_scratch: My charm alone will bowl her over, if not, I have a 2x4 that will do the trick :tongue3:
