Nice GI for sure, I like the wide rim design.
Looking at your signature you are a half Dollar magnet, amazing. I've yet to find one. (US that is, searching tradeport sites I've recovered Spanish and Latin American equivalents.)
Any idea what the 'Escution' or whatever the holed oval piece may have come from? I have several similars and one dead on match for the piece shown. HH to ya :)

I found my first silver half dollar this year (first one ever) on Mother's day and I've found 4 since then. Can't believe they keep coming up. Here's a link to the original post I made about these finds in the today's finds forum. followed by a link somebody posted in reply about this very item.

Nice! Im in the british isles and ive never even found a George iii coin in as good condition as that
