BRONZE STATUE
I found this a few years ago buried in an old privy. He is made of bronze and is a little short of 9 inches tall. I think of him when I see HISPAN's avatar. Does anybody have an idea how old he is! He is now a piece of garden art. Is he valuable? Should I bring him inside? I couldn't locate the feet for this guy. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for looking! DD

Re: BRONZE STATUE
How did you attach your statue securely to the stone slab base? I want to create something similar as I have several nice slabs. Thanks! Andi

The slab was something I dug and it already had a hole in it. The legs on this guy are hollow. I attached a long bolt to the slab and slid him on. It worked out pretty well. DD

It is very necessary a photograph near having her figure in the arms ... if they screw have a is modern and not if it could be even Hellenistic and brought to America by someone. (I suggest you test carbon-14 ..)

Re: BRONZE STATUE
This may not have had feet when it was made .
But this is really nice . And made of Bronze I would not worry to much about it as that will weather really well .
It will out last us that is for sure.

Re: BRONZE STATUE
Now that's a beautiful find!
I think it looks great in your garden too!
I love hunting old relic sites . . . as I feel
the imprint of past lives often linger there.
I view relic sites as windows to the past, sacred places
in a way, yet at the same time attesting to the reality
that the past is still very much a part of our today!
