Medieval, Silver, Gilt ,Crucifix, 14th ,Century.
I Found the crucifix last year .Had a treasure inquest and declared treasure .Now it is in local museum. It is my best medieval find. 14th Century silver gilt Crucifix. Found on farmland and had beeen ploughed in the past. Have hit this field for over 18 years. You never know unless you keep on looking .

Welcome to Tnet
Very nice item, sounds like your Treasure inquest was rather quick, how long was it from declaring/recording to Museum/cheque in the post? (just wondering if some Counties are quicker than others)

Slightly quicker than normal (still unacceptable). Handed something in Jan this year & still awaiting the Report from the BM.
