    My best find EVER. Found 11-03-11

    I found this on my Inlaws old farmstead about 7" down in the cow pasture.

    1840-1850 American Infantry Officers dress sword clamshell guard that is gilded in gold.



    This is what it looked like before any cleaning.


    Nice little 925 silver ring (my first and only silver so far)


    1908 V Nickel in really bad shape but was my first old coin.
