Good haul on the chains....would imagine most of them rang up as iffy signals??

Excal finds,
They all sound different.
The heavy 925 sound great. The ones that are in a solid pile sound good. The ones that are strung out and broken (not clasped) sound scratchy, and the ones with mixed metals (copper pendant w/ a poor metal chain) then they sound like two different targets next to each other.
That's why I am a believer of pulling all targets. I could easily have said "Next" to 70 % of these.

gg,

Thanks for the feedback....as my regular sites get more and more picked over....like you I'm leaning more towards digging just about any repeatable signal....even the scratchy and broken ones...

Once in awhile it pays off with a keeper.

It is definitely getting competitive. Same here in Central NY.
The fresh water lakes are tough because they don't turn over very often.
I just took a picture of some of my rings. I will post it in a few minutes.
Take care Bill,
Gary G.
