    GOLDEN RIJDER (coin from holland) 1749/1750

    hello.

    this was my first golden coin that I found (some years ago).

    It is called a gouden rijder (golden rider).

    It is a 14 guilder coin .

    and the one that lost this coin in 1750 ,must have been very sad haha.

    In those days(1750) you could buy a lot of horses with this coin

    graetings from bubbas

    Nice Gold to start with in great condition. Normally you will get a nice coin like that & its damaged by the plough, so you must have been dancing awhile after you wiped the dirt off that one!
