By the Hallmarks, Beautiful Rings to Both Of you!!!! Chug
Dear metal detector God,
Thank you for all the stuff I find, I really appreciate the coins, toys, junk jewelry, old bullets, and all the other neat stuff I find, I try not to complain and cuss when I find pulltabs, foil, and other garbage, and I try REALLY hard to be nice to people who irritate me. I only have one complaint, I have yet to find gold and it's been a year now!
Found this about three months ago............7gms...... 22 Karat Victorian Gold Wedding Band ....Assayed: Birmingham England....1854...(I think maybe it was 1857, the Date Hallmark is a capitol F in a box)
I am not sure how you would date a ring other than logo and inside marks. I think I have Sommer Islands rings, but how could they have gotten here? Inside has SI and IC K. See silver color nuggets posted last month. Another ring is marked 925 and has boat/pig logo also. This appeared after Hurricane Bob. Also found was a medallion covered with rust. All good targets for a tesoro stingray. I doubt it is melted aluminum cans.
Spanish 1715 fleet emerald treasure ring. 22.5 K inca gold with nine near flawless Colombian emeralds.
Game over...what could compete with that Beauty. I would never get sick of looking at that. Do you still have it or did you sell it, I know what I would have done.

No kidding. Makes all of my ring finds feel/look like complete junk. Hey Gary, my stocking will be hung by the chimney again this year.
