I found this around a month ago in a site that produced some other late 18th early 19th century coins and relics and wasn't sure what it was. I had it posted with some other finds on here and then was told it was a great find. When I dug it I didn't pay it much thought even though it was a nice steady high pitch tone and threw it in with the barely a keeper finds. Later on I noticed something underneath and when I cleaned some dirt out noticed it had initials and a british lion hallmark. Today had the time to take some new pictures and always thought it deserved its own thread at some point. It's tarnished dark but that is fine by me. Thanks for looking! :)
