So this morning I finally got around to cleaning up my coins from my cache . Got all the dates of the coins and took a few more pictures of them all cleaned and shiny . I plan on cleaning the tin a little and hitting it with some preservative and displaying it with the coins . The dates of the coins were......1951- S x 2 , 1951-D , 1952 Plain x 4 , 1953 - D x 4
, 1953 Plain , 1959 Plain , 1959 - D and a 1962 - D .
If you are interested in reading the original story of the cache it is in Todays Finds under .... "Not sure if this qualifies as a cache ..... but in my eyes it does ". Not sure how to put a link in for the original thread so ill do it that way . Here are some pictures of Ben looking all pretty 100_0593.JPG 100_0592.JPG 100_0591.JPG 100_0589.JPG

Wow. That is an amazing find. I was trying to figure out how to vote banner on the first post , then I saw this. That top left pic would look awesome across the top. Great find and great pics.

Awesome.

I would email a pic to Minelab, I bet they might want to use it, maybe they would send you some merch.

if you put the tin in some oxalic acid - you should be able to see what it said on it...

Of course that's a cache I think I could speak for most of us here and say a 2-3 silver day is a great day. You have a 15 silver day that's wonderful!!! Coins look good.

I am going to vote banner. Probably won't make it, but you have great pictures and a great story. I feel your find is more interesting and nicer than finding a $2.50 gold coin.

I wouldn't do too much to clean them. I have only found 1 Franklin half, a 1948. It was scratched up fairly badly, but still a great find.
