Haven't been here in a while, but wanted to share my nicest one yet!

Sorry folks... been busy other places! Glad to be back!

Dug this one back in February between the cold and snow we had. Came form an old farmstead, in front of the old house. Still gotta be more there, but waiting for it to wam/dry up a bit more!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks all! I dug this dime from less than 4 inches deep. Must have got dropped the day it came home from the bank. It was in a pretty muddy spot and shined as soon as it hit the sunlight! Only thing I did was run it under some warm water with a little baking soda, then rubbed a bit of olive oil on it. This is my oldest coin to date, but probably the best-looking one as well! I'd find Barbers like this anytime! Wouldn't that be cool??!!

I spent about an hour at this particular house. The day was sunny, but it was very muddy around the front part of the house and still covered with snow on the east side of the house. Needless to say, I didn't get to go over as much of the yard as I wanted to, so there is still quite a bit to cover once thigs dry out a little. This was towards the front of the house where it was muddy. I know my first Indian Head penny is coming from this place... I just gotta have some time to spend there!

That's a beauty you got there. Barber's always got friends. I bet you if you found that puppy in the cold wait till it gets warm and you can concentrate better. And the ground is softer. Wait till you dig a barber quarter. There might be one lying around. Good going it's always the first one that kills ya. But once you get one they come alot easier.
