Hey all, so I had signed up on treasurenet a while pack but didn't really post much. I am going to try and start post some of the the finds that I have made. I will also try to post more of the finds that I make in the future. Anyways, I wanted to share with you all another one of my best finds. A little bit of a backstory, a friend of mine had spotted a corn field he though may be good. We went and go permission and I was jokingly saying to him ''oh yeah I bet the field is loaded with early federalist era coin'' state coppers, etc. My friend replied with ''yeah, wishful thinking''. Well, that day we pulled 7 coppers and numerous buttons. Some of the coins were pretty strange. I found an 1837 lansingburgh NY walsh generalstore copper coin and my friend scored a Canadian bank token. Anyways, one of the coins that I found was this KG III copper. I had originally thought it was just a regular KG III but after showing it to many people, they told me it was most likely machin mills V.6-72A. Enjoy.

Here is another one to add to known list. I found this one in SW Pennsylvania.

Is that a 1772 also!? Nice score!

Yes it's 1772. The 2 is a little tough to make out in these pictures. It was ID by Don in SJ, a T-Net member and colonial coin expert.

I see it now. At first I thought it said 1776 but the 2 is there. Wow, we both have an extremely rare coin.
