This is definitely one of my best finds, but there is something unusual about it...it looks like the year was changed from 1901 to 1904. Upon further examination I discovered some writing was scratched out (top of photo) and it looks like it originally said "PAN AMERICAN". This would make sense since the Pan American Expo in New York was in 1901. (Looks like an alteration to me).

I thought this may have been one of a kind, but I saw another one online that was done the same way. If anyone has any information as to the story behind this, please share your findings. Thank you!

And that is how "Pablo the Peddler" was able to off-load all of his leftover 1901 Expo spoons! Great find, Sub 8-)
