    My best find

My best find. I received permission at an old house in an old area of town nearby. Found this in the backyard near the firepit and adirondack chairs.

I've found numerous seated quarters, a seated dime, several modern silver half, but this is the only full silver dollar I, or any of the buddies I hunt with have ever found- seated or otherwise.

Amazing what is right below everyone's feet and they never know.

Coins I have found in MY yard-

1775 British half penny, 178x half penny, 1816 Spanish 1/2 Reale, 1849 large cent, 1858 Seated Liberty quarter, 1892 Barber quarter, 18xx Shield nickel, 1897 Liberty head V nickel, a pile of Indian cents & Wheat pennies, 1946 dime, 1963 half dollar.

Congrat's on the find of the 1870 Seated Dollar. We would lose Gen. Robert E. Lee in 1870, only five years after the American civil War.

Awesome score. My coil has never beeped on one of those screamers. I've pulled a couple Ikes, a Peace and Morgan. I am figuring that the only 2 left to pull in my area are the Trade and Seated.

Yea- I guess I should have put it in a lineup- next to a half, quarter, dime...so people can realize it is a full dollar!
