Re: Suspender Clip Showroom... Show'em Off Here
Here's a matching pair, found the second one at the same homesite as the first. Had just said to BBoy, that it's funny how we never find a matching pair at any of the homesites we hunt. Then after 10 months we revisited the site for the third time and boom, my matching pair came true. Then we have the others I have found.

Thanx for the good pix of the wide variety Jerry. The ones found in late 1800s/early 1900s in CA look just like those examples. Whenever I find those age/strata indicators, I can just *feel* the seateds and barbers about to be dug next

Yes, that is unusual--but I'm seeing a pattern of finding the match at the same site. I have one and a piece of its match from the same site; no two of any of the rest of them are the same.
This is a Cool thread, Jerry.
I'll wait a few posts before I thread-kill with a reply full of a hundred clips.

Ya, I feel the same way.
Hey HB--I LOVE that Silver Plated clip with the Running Horse on it! That's a Great KENTUCKY Find, my friend!

P.S.--Jerry, your first three photos are upside down. The one with the crown on it is really cool. That's a Royal Suspender Clip.

Great idea, Jerry. That's a super collection you have going...and the horse clip is terrific, HB! I'll have to sift thru these boxes and see what I can come up with. I'm sure it won't be as good a showing as you all, but I have a few here.....somewhere. :P
