Hey floodcitykid,
Very interesting collection you have there. Yours are totally different than the kind we find in Northern California. Like you all of mine have been eyeballed while metal detecting. These are all made out of black obsidian. Some of the tribes we had in this area were the Hopi, Miwok, Paiute, Pomo, and many others. All these were found in Sonoma and Lake Counties.

A lot of quartz down there. Here in cental Pa. they are a prise for sure, we do'nt get many. Along the Susquehanna and southern and SE pa. they are more common. I worked construction in Md. and looked for artifacts while there, most of the debitage was rhyolite and quartz. The area must have been well looked after 'cause i only managed to find one broken point. H H .
