Iguana's and the 'gator.....delay's and perks of my job!

Came across these fella's in Florida while down there for work and figured they were worth a quick snapshot. If you are wondering, the machines are called SolarBee's which provide cleaner water for many different applications.

Wow! That's neato, DB!

We've got a Phillipine Sailfin Water Dragon. Boy would he like it there!

Got more pics?

Are they using the solar to try and aerate the water?

The solarbee is based off an aeration principle, but does a far greater amount of good compared to traditional aerators. Pulls water from a greater distance from the bottom and disperses it on the surface....causing sort of a ripple effect. Improves dissolved oxygen and prevents the growth of harmful blue-green algae build-up. The larger machines cover app. 35 surface acres whereas a traditional aerator only applies directly around the machine. High volume at a low pressure is the main principle of these machines. Very popular to be installed within potable water storage tanks also.
