I have been seeing the Swans every morning on my way to work hanging out on the frozen river. So after my trip to the grocery store I thought I would take the time to photograph them. To my dismay they were not there this morning. :icon_scratch: So as to not waste the trip I decide to take pictures of the Sea Gulls (or dumpster ducks as the hubby calls them. :D ). There was a pretty neat shot of the Gulls standing amongst these snow balls. I zoom in and the "snow balls" lift their heads. (I jumped a little. :wink: ) Mission accomplished! :thumbsup:

Country Girl, These are some neat pics. We get the swans around here sometimes but none now. We were just down by
the river this afternoon and about a thousand ducks and Geese are on the river.
I like the top pic with the snow-covered country scene across the river and the tree covered ridge beyond the houses.
very nice. Our big river looks like that one right now and the small one is froze over solid. The snowmobiles are
using it for a trail.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks! It was cold! 10 degrees, and windy. :tongue3:

7-8 years ago there were only 2 swans, I guess that's why they are so special. :thumbsup:

Frozen? Yeah that's why I thought they were snow balls! :D

CG, beautiful shots! I actually like the first one the best, reminds me of a few places I have seen, LOL, but not here in Southern New Jersey. ;)

I'd be more than happy to send you some of that white stuff. I even throw in some arctic air to go with it! :wink:

I knew you'd like that first one Don.
