Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowgirls-Updated...

Always loved calves with their big, soft brown eyes, had 6 calves born since last Saturday. Evy wanted me to post their pics. With these 6, my total as of today is 11, still have about 12 more due.

I'm not sure if Binky had twins or not, she accepted 1 but not the other. So, I'm having to lock her down, tie her hind leg to let Babe nurse.

They are adorable RR! You must be having a ball with the babies. Tell Mama to pay attention to business and feed that second one! Great post!

Dang Rat, those are good lookin' calves! We got 4 last year to raise up for butchering. They are a little over half grown now. We have been talking about getting a couple more young ones to keep the line moving; I'd like 2 of yours please.

Looking good. That is great when the herd is producing

They are always cute when they are little like that.

It's that time of year, better not name them if they are to be butchered. :tongue3:

That was our mistake, bought a cow, cousin raised it on his farm, 1 week before it was to be sent out we sold it. Sorry, I could not eat Bubbles and to this day I don't eat red meat.

Would love to see a calf being born. I have seen foals being born on marestare.com.

Some years ago my folks bought and raised a calf. They got it during the month of December so my mom thought naming it "Christmas" was a good idea. Don't ever name your calf "Christmas" if you're gonna eat it. ;D

I like those pics, RR. I don't get to see much livestock up here; real estate is too high. From what I can see your grass is starting to look good. I don't know about naming them either; go ahead if you want to. Grandpa used to have names for some of the old sows and different milk cows we kept. They aren't printable here though. My mom made that apparent to me when I repeated some of those names a long time ago.
