I took this with a Nikon D40 and Nikkor 55-200mm AF/VR lens. Unfortunately, I did not take it in RAW format, but in fine. The pic you see has been cropped slightly. I was about 180-200 feet away. This photo makes great 4x6's but nothing much larger. I've learned to take nature photos in the RAW format and decrease it's size at a later time.
