Super National Tractor Pull

Hello,
I went to the tractor pull in Tomah Wisconsin over the weekend and snapped these pictures. Some of the five engine machines were supercharged hemis. The one with the stove pipes is powered by three gas turbine helicopter engines. The one with the three funnel looking things on the front are V12 Allison aircraft engines. All but the turbine machine were so loud you could feel your body vibrate when they went by.

wow you Americans really know how to spend some money on these crazy machines. Where i come from having a racecar with one engine is expensive enough without having the headache of 5. then we move onto the turbine engines, man they must be over a million a pop. I could buy a nice lifestyle with that sort of cash.

Cool to watch tho pulling those trailers.

I had no idea they did that sort of thing that far up north. It's cool to see farm boys and country boys are pretty much the same all over, and they can cobble together some pretty amazing things given a good shop and a little free time.

Reminds me of my youth at the Ohio State Fair. Not so much for tractor pulls in western Montana. I miss the noise and smell.
