Who's afraid?

Well, I'm certainly leery.

A wolf-cross belonging to a friend was in my care when it got tangled in it's rope.
It way my task to free it. There was no muzzle for it, and not one for over an hours drive.
(This was before I learned how to use a common rope to wind a muzzle around the snout of a dog.)

The wolf wasn't necessarily mad at me when he crunched down on my thumb,
he was just generally upset.

It wasn't a nice sound, being crunched like that!

I'll let that wolf-dog guard your children faithfully and won't EVEN go near !

Fifteen years ago... thumb is still a little bit numb at the tip.

We had wolves for 20 years. Nothing like them.

The last one died 5 years ago at the ripe old age of 16. that's his baby pic in my avatar. I still miss him everyday :(

Hello Ashleen,

Her name is Aleshka and really she just looks the part
She's a Husky/German shepard cross and a real part of our family! Certainly one of the most intelligent dogs i've ever known! With some strange instincts :icon_scratch:

She can sniff out a dead animal from miles and will pull you there in order to eat the carcus :o

This is a picture of my son's "Wolf" dog. She's mostly Alaskan Husky I think and was the runt of the litter. She is a big sissie. But she ate a cat that got into her yard a week or so ago. Couldn't blame her, very territorial and protective. If you go to discipline my grandson she will get between you and growl but she's never bitten anyone. Monty
