Keep them doggies rollin'
These cattle were being moved to another pasture the old fashioned way. They had to be cut about ten or so at a time because of 1 narrow area. If all 150 head or so were moved thru there at the same time, they may have panicked or broke fences. Quads are too noisy for a big job like this and some streams are too deep for them this time of year. Something very nostalgic about hearing nothing but the moos of the cattle, bark from a ranch dog and occasional shout from a cowboy. Some cattle get pretty stubborn and it's fun to watch them try to out-dodge a good cutting horse.
