I went home for Mothersday and decided to go to the old millsite at the backside of the property. I been going there since I was a kid but never took any pics. My grandfather always said there was a grist mill there in the 1800's. I took my metal detector and did find some square nails but not much else. I did however find an old railroad bed that I've never heard anyone mention. I didn't get any pics of the rail bed but will next time I go. Got a bonus with the, mountain laurels? I've always called them that but not sure if correct. If anyone knows what the flowers are, please tell.
