I met up with some new friends in NC this past weekend.
I arrived high atop Yellow Mountain NC where the scenery was as pretty as it gets. There, I met up with T and his family at their amazing home and ranch.
We chatted for little bit, then set out for some detecting.
We met up with some neighbors down the road who knew this history well in these parts, telling us some neat stories of the past.
My new detecting friends were very cordial and genuine folks. We didn't find alot detecting, instead the real treasure was meeting great people and enjoying the day~
We had a very nice day in the NC mountains.

Thanks again,
Mike

Mike, we couldn't agree more. It was a real pleasure meeting you, talking about local history, and learning detector skills! This was also an awesome introduction to the hobby for my brother. Thanks for making the hike out there, we had an absolute blast! Hope to hang out again next time I'm in NC! :icon_thumleft:

Cheers,

Thomas
