Some call the flowers 'surprise lillys', we call them 'naked ladies' around here.

Always pretty landscape pictures coming from you, Fossis. Yep, football season, acorns falling, cool weather coming all signs of Fall, the "naked ladies" lets you know. They're popping up in my beds, always loved that old timing flower. I don't believe that is a true hibiscus, looks like Althea, Rose-of-Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus). Mine, both colors the white like the pic and the purplish are blooming now.

Thanks, I'me not up on my flowers, but my sister in CA agrees that it is (Rose of Sharon).
