Still getting used to the new setup, thanks for your patience :icon_thumleft:. Tried a few "bird in flight" shots, I've found out it's not easy, so I defaulted to my best mate who loves the camera :laughing7:, anyway enjoy.

In flight is 'tricky', what type birds are in the second pic?

Hi fossis, how ya going mate :hello:, I live right in the middle of a load of creeks and salt and mud flats so we get a lot of sea birds. The birds in the second picture are what we call "seagulls", but I couldn't tell you the exact species, they were quite big, so maybe herring gulls. The shading on their plumage was due to the sun setting and shedding a peachy light on everything. I will show the picture to a bird watching friend and see if he can id them :icon_thumleft:.
