And fixin to be the end of it. A little snow's come in for a couple of days below 10,000 ft. and the leaves are fallin off. Took these up in the Gore Range.
purdy stuff there rg. I was hoping to get back East this Fall but I don't think that's gonna happen. I had a specific mission but I was thinking I'd catch the Wisconsin colors as a bonus. We don't get much color out here unless you drive to specific areas and then it is pretty much concentrated in one area, not the entire countryside.

You can't take a bad pic up here Squishy. Just point and shoot. I was born and grew up in the red dirt country of Caddo County, Oklahoma in the Southern Plains. I been up here for about 7 years and hardly ever leave the mountains anymore. I still have those 'Oh wow, look at that' moments anytime I'm outdoors, just like a tourist. Still get homesick for western Oklahoma and west Texas, so I get down there about once a year, but it's always great to come back to the mountains. Hope you make it up here sometime.
First is the little town I live in, Frisco, CO. Kinda like livin in a forest, and I guess we do, cause it's national forest land all around us. Second is sunup over Dillon Reservoir.
