    A new lake and some more swans

    I found a new lake near me via google earth (again), so I popped down there late this afternoon to see what was going on. I should have gone earlier because the sun was starting to dip low, but I got a few pics anyway. Enjoy

    There were 2 Mute Swans on the lake and this one was very curious

    He/She came over for a good look at the strange thing taking pictures (I like this shot)

    Then went and had a word with it's partner, "Stay away from him, he's got no bread"

    2 male Mallards, it was getting a bit windy by now so it was hard to hold focus with the 500, but I like this shot

    That swan was not curious.......never turn your back on one that is approaching you .....MM
    Exposure to the Son prevents burning
