Aimless in the mountains
Got up early this a.m. and headed over to Silverthorne, then north along the Blue River to Green Mountain, and over along Cataract Creek. No point to the whole thing, just driving around in the high country. I see a lot of eagles along the Blue, but never a decent pic.
This world is not my home.

Re: Aimless in the mountains
About the middle of May, Chris. The ground thaws out and the trees leaf out by then. We still get snow at times through the summer, but no big deal. This winter has been different. Last year we had tons of snow and 30 and 40 below temps. This year, not that much snow (we barely had a white Christmas). Up in the 30's in the day this year, which is normal, but dependin on which night it is, 20 below or 20 above. It was 10 above this a.m. when I went out, which was way more better than that 18 below last time out.

Great Shots as usual RGINN, It's been awhile since I went on one of those aimless drives. Used to quite freqently, but with the price of gas, I stay home a lot.
